Turning Vision To Reality

“There is a powerful dividing force inside every human being that, once unleashed, can make any vision, dream or desire a reality.”
–Anthony Anthony Robbins

Thomas Edison was a man built for breakthroughs. He burned with the passion to create things that no one had before. It took him countless tries to discover the filament—made from Japanese bamboo—that made electric light possible. Lesser men would have given up, but Edison dreamed of a world lit by electricity. He persisted, and his breakthrough made him a household name, revolutionizing our lives by adding hours to our day.

“Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough”
― Oprah Winfrey

“Forget yesterday - it has already forgotten you. Don't sweat tomorrow - you haven't even met. Instead, open your eyes and your heart to a truly precious gift - today.”
― Steve Maraboli

“Love is made up of three unconditional properties in equal measure:

1. Acceptance
2. Understanding
3. Appreciation

Remove any one of the three and the triangle falls apart.

Which, by the way, is something highly inadvisable. Think about it — do you really want to live in a world of only two dimensions?

So, for the love of a triangle, please keep love whole.”

REALITY TIPS

  •
  • There are certain factors beyond your control. Don't try to control them. Simply put every idea into action and work hard towards it.
  • Find a picture of yourself from back when you were little. Think about how far you've come since then. Look at how much you have grown since then and think about all the goals you've accomplished. You're a great person, so don't think of yourself like you're nothing because everyone has a purpose in life.
  • Change your overall attitude. Instead of saying "I hate my mother because she's critical and she is too overprotective, even now that I'm a certain age.", say, "I love my mother because she cares what I do and doesn't want me to make bad choices even now that I'm a certain age.", if you live your life with a more positive attitude, you will see your whole attitude will look that way more often, so you'll be less depressed.
  • Try self-helping things that will help you focus on other things, such as hobbies, art, yoga/exercise, music, whatever you feel like doing, the littlest difference will help you vent. Venting is so important when you are feeling low.
  • Don't blame others for the choices you have made.
  • Confide in a good friend. Talking to good friends will definitely help, and is just another healthy way of venting.Sometimes it is good to share and confide.
  • There is no problem without solution.Don't ponder over it too much.Think every pain upgrades you so that you can realize your capability to cope up with it.

How to Accept Yourself, Your Life, and Your Reality

What do you do when you feel like the world has fallen? What do you do when you feel like all you ever worked for, aimed for, thought about, doesn't really matter? When you feel like there's no real reason to wake up to see tomorrow? What if this article told you that you could lose your self-doubt? That you could finally stop questioning your life? Read on and follow the steps that can make you see how beautiful life is.

1 Learn to accept who you are. It's one of the hardest things to follow through on, but it's definitely most rewarding. It's so easy to look in the mirror and point out most of your insecurities. But, instead of counting all the things you wish you could be, try counting all the things that you are thankful for that bring out your natural beauty. Understand everyone has beauty, whether it be their eyes, their plumped lips, or their rosy cheeks. Make a list of all of these things, and hang it up somewhere by a mirror, and before you leave, look in the mirror and tell yourself you look good. Remember that it's your own opinion that really counts.

2 Realize your imperfections and then let go. Are you too bossy? Are you too critical of yourself? You're lazy, right? You don't have a lot of friends because you are shy? This could go on and on, but the point is that you need to find out what you aren't so good at, maybe what you don't have, and then let go of it. This is one of the most key steps to accept who you are.

3 Be honest with yourself. This is one of the hardest things for many of us to do. In many of today's societies that focus on the individual, we are encouraged to strive for success, and often we look for praise as the acknowledgment of that success. We take any criticism as a negative thing, so we shy away from seeing anything about ourselves that elicits that reaction.

4 Remember that you can't fix it until you can admit there is a problem and faith is the solution. Have faith in yourself, realize only you can change you, only you can control your destiny. Decide what is important to you and set your mind to it. Remove self-doubt and have faith you can become what you envision.

5 Recognize ineffective coping mechanisms. If you are experiencing any of the feelings described in the introduction, odds are that what you are doing to cope with the problems in life are not working. These things may have worked in the past, and are so ingrained that you don't even realize you do them.

6 Replace the old methods you used to deal with situations and problems with ones that will deliver or elicit positive responses and solutions. Changing old behaviors can be just as difficult as recognizing them because it takes time and determination to replace old habits and behaviors, but the payoff is worth it.

7 Make a short list. Once you have accepted yourself, with all your imperfections, you can change some things about yourself. Write out a list about what you want to achieve, what you can achieve, and how you will achieve it. Although, understand that no one is perfect, and sometimes you just can't change who you are.

8 Don't try to alter several things at once, this is a recipe for failure. Once you have your list, prioritize it. Decide what you need to work on in order of importance. Often changing one thing will cause other things to fall in line, like knocking over dominoes.

10 Learn that life is the way it is. You can only make it hard if your attitudes about life are pointed that way. You can't change who you really are either. Just be the best you can be, and live life with pride.

The Reality of Prayer, E. M. Bounds

PRAYER—A PRIVILEGE, PRINCELY, SACRED

I am the creature of a day, passing through life as an arrow through the air. I am a spirit
come from God and returning to God; just hovering over the great gulf; till a few moments
hence I am no more seen; I drop into an unchangeable eternity! I want to know one thing, the
way to heaven; how to land safe on that happy shore. God Himself has condescended to teach
the way; for this end He came from heaven. He hath written it down in a book. give me that
book! At any price give me the Book of God! Lord, is it not Thy word—“If any man lack wisdom,
let him ask of God? Thou givest liberally, and upbraidest not. Thou hast said, if any be willing
to do Thy will he shall know. I am willing to do; let me know Thy will.”—John Wesley

YOU HAVE TO LIVE ABOVE REGRET

YOU HAVE TO LIVE ABOVE REGRET

Do not over inflate the regret. Accept it as it is and do not make it bigger by dwelling on it.

Don't rehash the event over and over by continually telling others what happened. You could actually become "addicted" to the sympathy!

Discovering the source of your regret but not modifying your behavior to avoid the situation in the future will lead to repeated regrets, possibly of greater intensity.

If at any point your regret turns into severe depression, withdrawal, self-harming, or suicidal thoughts, please contact a doctor, psychologist, counselor, psychiatrist, somebody that you trust completely. You are not alone!

If you are feeling guilt or regret because someone abused you or sexually assaulted you, realize that you are not to blame! But, make sure that you tell the police (and your parents if you're young) so that person who hurt you will be stopped from hurting you and other victims.

We live only once, so lets live above REGRET.

Tips On How to Overcome Serious Regrets

Tips On How to Overcome Serious Regrets

Keep your situation in perspective. Remember that anything you've done is totally forgivable, even though it may seem unforgivable to you.

Also make sure you forgive yourself and others because we all mess up!

Think to yourself, why did I do it? And how can I prevent myself from doing it again?

Forget the past, watch the present, and create the future.

Whatever your past mistakes are, they can be redeemed and used for good if you are truly sorry. The mistakes you made can be used as teaching tools, to prevent others from making the same bad choices and getting into the same trouble you did. If you're truly changing you can work with teens and be a mentor. Sharing your story with others, with the goal of teaching, can be very healing. The rough things you went through, even if they were your fault, can even help others who have already made mistakes they regret, because you can be a friend to them which will understand how they feel and not judge them.

Writing about your regrets, feelings, and frustrations can help understand why you did what you did and how you can learn from your mistakes.

Remember that sometimes you are actually harsher with yourself.

Live in the present, keeping your focus in the current moment stops you from re-living the past over and over; this will also help you to stop living your life through the eyes of your past.

Take comfort in knowing that we've all made really huge mistakes! You're not alone. If you only knew all the skeletons in people's closets, you'd know that we all do things we seriously regret at times. But, this too will pass (as they say).

Visualize yourself acting and doing things as you move forward and leave your regrets behind.

Forget it, Let Go and Let God.

REVEALING TO YOU LIFE'S GRACIOUS REALITIES: YON CAN DO BETTER

YOU CAN DO BETTER

How to Overcome Serious Regrets

There is no such thing as a life without any regrets. However, regrets can become either burdens that interfere with your present happiness and restrict your future, or motivation to move forward. If you find yourself overcome by regrets, here are some steps that should help you integrate them.

1 Determine what your regret really is. Do you regret something you did or something you didn't do? Something someone else did or did not do? A circumstance beyond your control? It is important to step back from the feelings of regret and identify exactly what the regret is.

2
Ask for forgiveness and make amends. Apologize for any harm you may have caused others, it does not kill to ask for forgiveness so give it a go! Forgive yourself. Forgiving others will make you happier. Be compassionate toward everyone involved including yourself.

3 Accept the circumstances. Avoid blaming others but rather take responsibility for anything that you could have better handled.
4 Deal with toxic relationships. Sometimes other people cause us to do things that leave us with serious regrets. Do you have a toxic relationship that needs to be addressed or severed?

5 Grieve for your regrets. When we feel regret, we re-live guilt, sadness or anger over and over again. Allowing yourself to experience these feelings fully with the intention of moving forward can help you stop revisiting them.

6 Recognize what you have learned or gained. When you find yourself thinking of the regret, turn your thoughts to the things you have learned and the opportunities that are now yours - even if they are not what you would have preferred. There is always a lesson even in pain and sadness. Look for the lesson and focus on it instead of what might have been.

7 Write out a plan or agreement for yourself that identifies how you could avoid having this sort of regret in the future.

GO TO THE ANTS.................

 GO TO THE ANTS.................

Ants are common insects, but they have some unique capabilities. More than 10,000 known ant species occur around the world. They are especially prevalent in tropical forests, where they may be up to half of all the insects living in some locations.
Enthusiastically social insects, ants typically live in structured nest communities that may be located underground, in ground-level mounds, or in trees. Carpenter ants nest in wood and can be destructive to buildings. Some species, such as army ants, defy the norm and do not have permanent homes, instead seeking out food for their enormous colonies during periods of migration.
Ant communities are headed by a queen or queens, whose function in life is to lay thousands of eggs that will ensure the survival of the colony. Workers (the ants typically seen by humans) are wingless females that never reproduce, but instead forage for food, care for the queen's offspring, work on the nest, protect the community, and perform many other duties.
Male ants often have only one role—mating with the queen. After they have performed this function, they may die.
Ants communicate and cooperate by using chemicals that can alert others to danger or lead them to a promising food source. They typically eat nectar, seeds, fungus, or insects. However, some species have diets that are more unusual. Army ants may prey on reptiles, birds, or even small mammals.

Every Morning Talk {EMT}: HIGHER EVERYDAY

 SEARCH OUT SOMETHING

Text: “It is the glory of God to conceal athing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” (Proverbs 25:2)

A proverb says, ‘curiosity killed the cat’. But note that if not for curiosity, there would be no United States of America. There would be no electricity, motor cars, telephones, computers and aeroplanes. It was the zeal of men like Christopher Columbus, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison and Alexander
Graham Bell that made them possible.

Curiosity is the same word as inquisitiveness , interest, prying, or questioning. We all possess it as children and like to explore our environments. That means you too can search out something. Unfortunately, as you grow older, this zeal is subdued by many things, including unhelpful experiences and discouragements by friends and family members. You need to
renew your curiosity. Learn how to develop keen interest in yourself and environment.
According to Ken Keyes, “Let everyone and everything around you be your teacher.” Inquisitiveness makes your mind active instead of being passive; observant of new ideas, and opens up new worlds and possibilities. It brings excitement into your life, leads to new discoveries makes you fruitful and useful.

Challenge: Curiosity can open new world of possibilities to you.
Prayer: O God, keep my mind active.

SLEEP part 1

what is Sleep?

There are over 20 definitions of "sleep" in several dictionaries. The first, a verb, seems most appropriate: to take the rest afforded by a suspension of voluntary bodily functions and the natural suspension, complete or partial, of consciousness; cease being awake.
Physiologically, sleep is a complex process of restoration and renewal for the body. Scientists still do not have a definitive explanation for why humans have a need for sleep. We do know that sleep is not a passive process or "switching off" of body functions; sleep is believed to be important in many physiologic processes including the processing of experiences and the consolidation of memories. It is also clear that sleep is essential, not only for humans but for almost all animals.
The importance of sleep is underscored by the symptoms experienced by those suffering from sleep problems. People suffering from sleep disorders do not get adequate or restorative sleep, and sleep deprivation is associated with a number of both physical and emotional disturbances. In addition, sleep is influenced by the circadian rhythms (regular body changes in mental and physical characteristics that occur in the course of about 24 hours). These are controlled by brain neurons that respond to light, temperature and hormones and other signals and comprise the body's biological clock. This clock helps regulate the "normal" awake and sleep cycles. Disruption of these cycles can make people sleepy at times people want to be awake. For example, travelers experience "jet lag" when they cross time zones. When a New Yorker arrives in Paris at midnight Paris time, his or her body continues to operate (their biological clock) on New York time. It may take some time (about 1-3 days) to reset a person's biologic clock, depending on how much it has been altered by the time change.
There is evidence that some aspects of sleep are under genetic influence; a gene termed DEC2 is being investigated as causing people that possess it to require only about 6 hours of sleep. Researchers have only begun to examine the genetics involved in sleep.

Every Morning Talk {EMT}: GOOD THINKING GOOD PRODUCT

George Washington Carver died on this day in 1943. The formal slave had become a renowned scientist, internationally recognized for his agricultural reseach, and was honored with numerous awards. Carver is especially noted for creating more than three hundred products from peanuts, such as a milk substitute, printer's ink, and soup. He also developed over seventy-five product from pecans and more than a hundred products from sweet potatoes, including flour, shoe polish and candy.
It's amazing to think that someone could create three hundred useful product from a peanut! It's also impossible for our finite minds to grasp the fact that God created everything we see from nothing, the book of Genesis told us. Since we are created in God's image, we have an inherent creative drive. Any creative act we perform is an act of worship to the One who placed that spark in us.

Just Believe that God will create something amazing out of your life today. Amen

Every Morning Talk {EMT} On This Day

MAKING YOUR REALITY AN OPPORTUNITY

Lousi Braille was born on this day in 1809 in Coupvray, France. At age three, he was permanently blinded by an accident with a leather-making awl in his father's saddlery. When Braille was fifteen, he began revising a method of writing that had been develop for trench warfare communication by army captain Charles Barbier. Barbier''s system was rejected by the military as too complex, but Braille hoped it could be useful for blind people. Ironically, he used an awl-like stylus to make small, raised dots on paper that could be felt and interpreted. This system was not officially accepted until after Braille died in poverty in 1852. Today it is universally accepted for all written languages and for mathematics, science, and computer notation.
We seem to be surronded by senseless tragedies like the accident that blinded Braille in his childhood. In the Old Testament, Joseph's jealous brothers sold him into slavery. He was falsely accused of attempted rape and spent years in prison. Yet he rose up to become the second-most-powerful person in Egypt and many nations during a time of great famine. Joseph later assured his brothers, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good" Genesis 50:20.
As believers, we have the promise that he is working out all things ____even our hurts, disappointments, and tragedies____for our good and glory.

What painful situation has God used for good in your life??????

QUOTES OF REALITIES.

  • I don't believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be. Ken Venturi.

  •  Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light. Helen Keller.
  •  “You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” ― Dr. Seuss.

  •   “People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality, If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.” ― Jim Morrison.

  •  “We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don't even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It's time to put an end to this. It's time for us to let ourselves be loved.” ― C. JoyBell C.

  •  “Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.” ― Søren Kierkegaard.
